THE Camden Haven Orchid Society will hold their annual winter show this Saturday and Sunday, 11 and 12 June, in the Anzac Room of the Laurieton United Services Club.
The show will be open to the public on Saturday between 10am and 4pm, and Sunday from 9.30am to 3pm.
This is the season where Cattleya, Oncidium, Vanda, Dendrobium and Cymbidium hybrid orchids bloom.
Hybrid and species orchids of Australian and South American heritage, together with bromeliads and foliage plants, will be on display.
Potting demonstrations will be held each day at 10.30am.
A sales table for orchids, bromeliads and foliage plants will be available, as will growing notes to support the cultivation of orchids from the coast to the hinterland.
An awards presentation will be held on Sunday at 2.30pm.
