DEAR News Of The Area,
THE members of the Rotary Club of Laurieton wish to express their horror and revulsion concerning the terrible events that have taken place on Sunday night (14/12/2025) in Bondi.
Such wanton and premeditated taking of life can never be condoned in Australia under any circumstances.
Our sincerest and most heartfelt sympathies go out to all individuals and families who have suffered tragic loss and injury in this attack.
All Australians should be free to peacefully conduct their faith and culture-based ceremonies and activities in a peaceful and enjoyable manner free from threat of violence.
The Jewish community is no exception in these expectations.
Special mention should also be made of the Police, first responders and ordinary Australian civilians who put their lives on the line to protect their fellow citizens.
Their bravery will never be forgotten.
Rotarians all over the world dedicate their lives to world peace and helping others less fortunate than ourselves.
We hope that this terrible event is never again replicated in this state and in this country.
